This event is open to all female-identifying folks, and promises to be fun, supportive, casual, and simple. We will be outdoors the entire afternoon, immersed in the woods and trails. The fee for this event helps to ensure that our typical youth facing programs remain accessible and affordable for local families. Schedule: 1:00 Arrival & Welcome: In a comfortable space, we invite you to show up just as you are and trust that you will be celebrated and welcomed with open arms. 1:30 Woods Wander: Approximately 2 mile leisurely hike meandering through old growth Hemlocks and breathing in fresh spring air in the company of good women living heart-centered lives. We'll stop along our way to forage edibles on the trail, play some games, and reflect on our own internal sparks. 3:00 Earth Craft: We'll lean into our creative side and chat amongst ourselves with a low stakes earthy craft, which could include rock painting or making bark bowls. 4:00 Fire Building & Sit Spots: Practice bringing a spark to flame, to glowing fire. Then enjoy some YOU time in the woods with a journal during a personal 20 minute reflection time known as 'sit spots.' 5:00 Campfire Charcuterie: Enjoy a light dinner, on us. We'll provide an assortment of scrumptious finger food fuel for your body around the campfire. 5:30 Ceremony: We have a little gift for you to take with you, and at the end of our time together we will wrap up with a reflection on what nourishes your flame. Pack & Wear: Comfortable outdoor clothing & hiking shoes or boots Layers & rain gear as needed Backpack with water bottle, bug repellant, & creature comforts Leave: All of your chores, duties, and obligations behind.
